Implementation of web portal and trading system for Litchifoodservice AB.
The company was founded by Lennart Jangälv who during many years worked with developing a food sourcing system for IKEA´s restaurants world wide. Litchi Foodservice AB was founded to provide the private market with an efficient food sourcing solution using the same logistic solution as used by IKEA.
Fritidsresor with its Blue Village sites makes a pilot customer for the export market. Through Litchi Foodservice AB they will get an efficient sourcing of Swedish branded food products, for retail as well as for restaurants.
Litchi and VFM signed an agreement 2006 to deliver and host the VFM I-Deal system with web portal solution. Via the system Litchi administrates all its suppliers' product and prices which thereafter are published to the customers on the web portal in their own choice of language.
Litchi is also using VFM's Content Management System to administrate and update their web site.
